T.J. Cope introduced the first standardized modular cable tray system in 1948. The heart of the Cope design is the tubular rung and its unique, one-of-a-kind connection to the side rail by use of the cold swaging process. This connection is made without the use of heat, which can potentially disturb the molecular structure of the metal and weaken it. Today Cope offers a complete line of metal and fiberglass cable tray systems along with Centipede™ center-hung tray and Cat-Tray™ wire basket tray.
